This free workshop will focus on the basics of bird identification and the major bird families found around Saskatoon. It is aimed at novice birders, no experience is required. It should help you identify birds during the upcoming Christmas Bird Counts. hone. Everyone is welcome.

This workshop is sponsored jointly by the Saskatchewan Breeding Bird Atlas project of Bird Studies Canada and the Saskatoon Nature Society.

Meet
 in Room 1130, Health Sciences E wing, 107 Wiggins Road,
University of Saskatchewan campus, Saskatoon.
(same room used for 2019 Saskatoon Nature Society meetings.)

Parking: Above ground pay parking ($1.50/hour) is available in the lot across street on east side of Wiggins Road (next to observatory).
Underground pay parking ($3.00/hour) is available under building
at east end of Clinic Place accessed from Hospital Drive.

Bus: Many routes go to the nearby University Bus Terminal.
