Porter Lake is a large lake south of Aberdeen that has been home for large numbers of night-herons, ducks, grebes, cormorants and other water birds in recent years. Due to flooding, the grid road has been closed at the lake making it an excellent bird viewing location. Bring a hat and water to drink.
